Raised in the heart of Texas where 100 degree weather is the norm and real BBQ is made. Eli loves the touch of cold steel in his hands, heavy weight on his back, and the feel of discomfort during a workout. Specializing in Strength and conditioning with a background in football and track. After college he leaned his focus and talents more into the endurance way of life where he's ran multiple full and half marathons, 10ks, and 5ks. Also riding and competing in cycling centuries and tours. He understands a person wants and needs. He realizes everyone has different goals and adjust to them as needed. He's a big stickler on form first.
Eli, moved to Los Angeles in 2013 where he began coaching and managing at a local Crossfit box. From there he was asked to join the Lock Box staff where he now coaches and manages. His primary focus is our Power and Strength classes but due to his coaching skill and knowledge he's capable of coaching all the classes we hold.
Outside the gym you can find Eli doing anything that involves the outdoors no matter if it's cycling to Malibu, flying his power kite or backpacking during the weekends. He also enjoys cooking and being a handy man. Don't let the beard fool you he's as soft as a teddy bear. Make sure to drop into any of his classes for a great workout.
